We visited the hotel for the first time, it is conveniently located between s'Arenal and Palma, here you could get actually also without a rental car from. Through the nearby airport, it is understandably not the quietest hotel. But in the winter season with the relatively few flights, it is still acceptable, if you have a room facing the entry lane has. In the summer the looks a bit different. I was already for the fifth time in the Marina Luz this year I was disappointed with the condition of the room. My only made was vis a vis a construction site, was small, dark and dusty. I could ' against extra charge of 12.-E/ Tg.' a larger room. (clean it was not) the hotel was only moderately visited, so you had a free better rooms can be. The tv in both rooms had only four German-language channels. In winter, where EMS longer dark, I am staying longer in the room and would like to have had more channels to choose from. The Marina Luz is situated in a quiet residential area of Can Pastilla, if you walk one way you get to the resturants & bars if you walk the opposite direct towards Palm you can have a quiet stroll. - in November 09
