The room with the one-time view of the sea is modern, clean and has everything, what you need. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. We found great, that table wine and water were included in the price. The only negative was the oil smelling coffee at the breakfast buffet. We spent five wonderful days at the hotel in Ascona. As we were there October, everything was already closed. In other words, no bars, no immediate opportunities for shopping. Therefor we had sufficient space on the beach and pool, just the right with two young children.! Read more

The food was edible, but you missed a trick, which one could expect from an Italian kitchen.: 'upscale canteen'. Balcony door in the room did not open enough. Request for another room with excuses rejected because of the convenience front desk. Organized coach trip to Florence and guided city tour not recommended travel guide. We would go back again.
