Very ralles Hotel park consul in the 49 Str, but very noisy due to the traffic and construction in front of the hotel.
Modern and tastefully furnished.
Room a bit small but very clean and had a very good facilities, LCD tv, mini bar, hair dryer, coffee machine and much more.

For 2 days we were staying at the Marriott Financial / Eastside, the on the southern tip of Manhattan. Just around the corner (200m) is Ground Zero, as well as the Tribute WTC. Also nearby is the Centry 21 , a very large and especially cheap shopping center. The hotel itself is in a generally not the newest, but based on the location, the service and the equipment of the room (flat with a laptop, internet Wi-Fi connectivity for $12 /day) and the very clean rooms (especially the bathroom) a clear recommendation.
