Modern Swiss style, exceptionally clean and well appointed.
Guests were a mixture of German and English
There is a pleasnt garden alongside the hotel.
Spacious, clean with a balcony. The room had everything we needed.
All staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful.
The proprietors were very much in evidence and ensured that everything ran like clockwork.
We had a week of good weather in early June. This is still early in their Summer season and as a result not every lift was open to take us to walks in the upper levels. Nonetheless... Read more

we found the hotel meierhof welcoming friendly and comfortable. nothing was too much trouble for the staff.the food was excellent beautifully cooked and presented. the dining room staff were extremely efficient but always friendly and everything done with a smile.being on a main road the room was a little noisy but with so many lovely walks around we were rarely in during the day and there was little traffic after 8pm, so it is only a mini complaint. there was a well furnished comfortable lounge with a library of books and daily newspapers...
