Melia Sinai is a for the region rather smaller hotel right next to the sea in a beautiful Bay. To the reef come daily several Schnorchelausflugsboote. The hotel is directly located next to the larger Melia Sharm, which new is, but also with more noise. The hotel is a bit shabby. The chairs outside for example was already quite worn, but altogether is my impression have been good. One notices however already, the large growth of tourism rather to a halt. Stayed in the Melia Sinai. 2007 there were still 5 stars, 2010 four. 2012 I would of three stars give!
rooms are shabby, Defects insufficient repaired. As you generally only for sleeping in the room is, is this but not really bad. Absolutely bad was the food! If you have a Pauschalbadeurlaub Bay, one would like to also nice at the buffet operate. The breakfast was terrible; every day the same: dry toast and rolls, five marmelade to choose from. Good: proximity to the beach, snorkel at the nearby reef very nice.
Satisfactory: rooms are clean, however of tooth the time at the facilities.
Bad: small selection of the food and quality. The situation is probably due, that the hotel with only 40 guests (197 rooms 20 rooms) was occupied. Since is worthwhile comfortable no choice varied kitchen.
it is reasonable value for money not more. There must certainly be better in Sharm El Sheikh, or Egypt
