After ten months return we found the hotel to be renovated condition again. New beds, free internet (bring your laptop), free breakfast (with real room reservation). The staff was competent and had the ability to communicate, everything super clean. The prices were very moderate for France.

Hotel in a convenient location for sightseeing in Colmar. Breakfast is served in a meeting room, the atmosphere is uncomfortable. It is also, that many coach parties in the hotel and you did not always able, to refill the breakfast buffet (partly bread had baked).
The room was big enough and clean, the ceiling in the bathroom was obviously overlooked during the renovation (in the shower area had mold and mildew spots). A mirror was missing in the room.

Location was very good, the hotel is easy to reach for drivers, small hotel-underground garage available. Public parking spaces in front of the house were always occupied. The hotel is very in need of renovation, bar, lobby not appealing.

Mercure Hotel champ Mars is a three star del hotel came into the years. The entrance steps were just barely repaired with wooden slats, the elevators are terrible jolt, rooms and especially the bathrooms are very worn with unsteady mountings and scuffed Wannenverkleidung. The second exit of the parking garage was permanently broken.

The hotel was an older four floor construction, but both from the outside and inside very presentable. We booked an overnight with breakfast offer. At our holiday time there were some business travelers as well as German ladies groups at the hotel.
