The Mercure in Schwerin is in every aspect an ideal city hotel and for a city break to Schwerin recommendable without any reservation. It is great central-everything is within walking distance. A free parking space in the garage around the corner is for Autoanreisende ideal.
The service is very friendly. On Reservierungswünsche they reacted promptly.
The rooms are okay.. Only point of criticism if the low, very soft beds. For guests with 'back' the a bit problematic his. But we nevertheless slept well.

The Mercure is located in a rather new building close to downtown Schwerin. The reception and the adjacent hotel bar are small and attended to by one person. But since the hotel itself is rather small, there are rarely more than a few people there at once. The hotel has an elevator.
