All together the Mercure Wien city is a good, average four star hotel. Negative were the small bathroom, as well as the badly isolated window to the roadside in memory remained. Hotel is located in a good location, a lot on foot or by public transport's of the nearby Schwedenplatz reachable, the bus to the airport. Room large, well equipped and very clean. Friendly and Hilfsbereiters staff. Morgenbüfett delicious although in our opinion too expensive.

The hotel lies very central, about 5 minutes footpath of the Stephan's square. The rooms are modern and very clean. You are not very big, but city tours you mostly only for sleeping there on. From other guests one noticed little, probably are mainly tourists or people on business trip. It is a good breakfast buffet offered (not included in the price included!). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
A wonderful thing to the rooms is, that there is a kettle, mugs and coffee / tea to cook there.
