Hotel Messner

The hotel has my expectations for an overpriced hotel in Venice in the 2-star category totally outreached. The rooms (IMPORTANT: IN the ROOM main building RESERVE, the rooms the so-called guest house according to the residents not as nice) are in terms of size completely in order and larger, as you would expect at this price. Vapor ello station to walk you about 3 to 5 minutes, unfortunately only the Vapor here ello line, which stops at every station. We were in the adjoining building on the ground floor here the room part number of floods. Accordingly looked the room and it smelled moldered. I think the hotel itself is however thoroughly recommended. The location is quiet but still central. Read more

The hotel is very centrally located, two vaporetto stations from Saint Mark's square in a quiet area. The staff was nice, friendly and tried hard. (The exception of one receptionist) was somewhat mürrisch). The rooms are small, but appropriately equipped and, above all, very clean. The towels were changed every day. In front of our room was unfortunately a scaffold, so having the window open was not possible a, which bothered us but not overly, since we anyway only for showering/sleeping.
