My wife and I just spent 4 days in Old San Juan at the hotel Milano and really enjoyed the area and the hotel Milano. The location is extraordinary being in the heart of a variety of excellent restaurants, bars and clubs, and within a few blocks of one of the old forts and the harbor. However what I was really impressed with was the helpful and friendly service. One example was Miguel. He was the receptionist at the hotel when we arrived. This is a charming, unusual small hotel in the heart of the old city. It's owned and run by one of the most interesting men you'll ever meet.
