Minos Imperial Luxury Beach Resort is situated in the emerald bay of Milatos, close to the homonymous traditional fishing village which is 45 km from the Heraklion Airport, in the heart of Eastern Crete. The hotel’s location provides the opportunity to its guests to go on many different kinds of excursion due to its short distance from all the major sites of interest. Guest may visit many significant archaeological and historical sites of Crete such as Knossos, Lasithi, Malia, Elounda, Agios Nikolaos, Hersonissos but also the Cretan Aquarium, the ‘Watercity’ & ‘Aqua Plus’ water parks or the 18 holes golf court which are located in a short distance from the hotel. The guests may also go on boat trips to Santorini or even Mykonos on our brand new Italian yacht Azimut E62.

Minos Imperial is a paradise for food lovers. With six restaurants and five bars from casual to elegant, there is truly an experience to satisfy every want and a taste to overwhelm every desire.

Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Entertainment and sport activities are performed both during the day and in the evening by the hotel's experienced animation team.

There are five large swimming pools: one with fresh water & four with salt water. Two of these swimming pools come with Jacuzzi and one of them is heated (depending on weather conditions).

A variety of sports and activity programs such as aerobics, aqua fit and body firming as well as competitions and games are taking place either at the beach or at the swimming pool. Music and entertainment shows are also held during the evening.

In the resort, guests can find an aqua park, a place not only for children but also for adults. At the shore, there are jet skis, banana, rings, canoeing, sea bicycle, water skiing and other water sport possibilities as well as scuba diving & lessons (close to the hotel).

Furthermore, there are two tennis courts and a basketball court. Other sport and recreational activities available at the hotel are beach volleyball, mini football, table tennis, billiard and darts.

An Internet corner also exists as well as various electronic games and a home theatre.
