We have enjoyed the two weeks at the Minos mare very. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was both at the breakfast, as well as at the dinner was very varied and always tasty. Yes the rooms are a little worn, but very clean and that was important to us. Unsurpassed is the location on the immediate clean not full beach which begins directly behind the pool. The hotel has gotten old and had certainly seen better days. The rooms are extremely in need of renovation in particular. Carpet and furniture have a worn condition. The equipment has become outdated and dirty. The bathroom need of a complete basic redevelopment. Very pleasant, friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel. Problems will be resolved very quickly. Very nice grounds with very clean pool. The access to the sea is directly possible. The food is really good and above all with variety. After three weeks stay no of monotony. Ideal for a beach holiday, because of the sand gravel beach directly behind the pool starts (two beach chairs and an umbrella cost 5 euros per day). Nice staff, clean rooms, rich buffet. Drink prices in the restaurant and at the pool bar were OK. The rooms were already a bit older, but always clean and tidy. In a few minutes you can reach the bus stop to Rethymnon (ticket 1.20 €, 15 min drive.) and several bars, restaurants and shops. Read more
