Old fashioned decor inside, but homely and comfortable with good facilities for its size.
Good sized rooms, rather old fashioned decor but clean and comfortable. Shower worked fine. Large windows overlooking quiet pedestrianised street. Air conditioning unit worked well. Safe and minibar. No noise problems.
Staff friendly, excellent English spoken.
Ideal for rail travellers. Wonderful vegetarian Indian takeaway just opposite!

Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbour does including the flushing of toilets.The floors creaked. Although the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location great ( beside the train station )one gets very little sleep from the noise of guests walking through the corridor to their rooms as well as the trains. Not good ventilation and one cannot open the windows because of the noise. How did this hotel receive a 3 star rating when in does not even have basic amenities such as hair dryer, iron for guests?
