Great Traditional hotel on the malecon. We had two very beautiful room the former capos on the second floor with access to large terrace overlooking the malecon - simply nicer. The furnishings the room is very good, the bathroom is good, but not outstanding. Great and good selection for breakfast, however without atmosphere, it reminded me of a cafeteria, than a good hotel.
Apart from that top, a night here one should afford. We spent here our last night after 3 weeks Cuba and it was worth it. Read more

Historical hotel from 1930, 426 rooms, beautiful location overlooking the malecon, about four kilometer to the old town. Rooms with famous movie stars marked. Beautiful garden with restaurant, food not good and the prices for the drinks were very expensive. The hotel was mostly occupied by Americans in the breakfast was very noisy and there as in the waiting room. The waiters didn't want the guests to use their service.
