The hotel is located in the center of Ottawa. The distance from the airport took about 60 mins drive due to the numerous traffic lights. It has an underground car park with direct access to the hotel (elevator, 15,5CAD/day). 100 meters access to the shopping center Rideau center with many fast food outlets and Shoppinggelegenheiten. The Parliament and many more attractions / museums are within walking distance. The Novotel Ottawa is located in the heart of Ottawa. Business guests step through the front door and keep left as you'll be in a few minutes to walk to the business district and for tourists, as we were, there was the way to the right, as many sights the Nation's capital are located in the immediate vicinity. A new hotel, very central, just off the bridge to the Parlamtent-Hill. Nice, large, clean room with a flat screen TV and internet access. Large, clean bathroom en suite. Very friendly reception. Only issues I could point out was I found the shower drain to a little clogged, and I am unsure if I got charged for bottled water or things from the mini fridge although not taking or consuming any of them because upon reading a hotel pamphlet in the room discovered that the bottled water was set on censors as were items removed from the fridge, if that's the case, visitors should be made aware prior to entering their suites.
