The hotel is no longer the newest, but a clean and well-kept impression. It consists of several buildings, each with 2 floors. In the middle of the hotel there is a big, clean and well-kept salt water pool with beach chairs and seating areas. The hotel offers/ breakfast. Although the hotel has a restaurant, the (but very expensive) dining. The guests are middle-aged, all nationalities.

Spacious area in the cozy Palmcove.
Although only standard room - huge! You can tell that it had been recently renovated. Mega-TV (you need a on holiday??? ). Kitchenette - new and large. Large balcony with view of pool. All in all the best room we had during our Australia-stay!
Front desk is average friendly. The service staff in the restaurant but it is very slow and rather inexperienced.

booked over the Internet, as a base for great Barrier Reef etc. price/performance ratio. The service already in the area Restaraution was almost from scratch- brekkie and dinner-so we ate in our apartment; opportunities for shopping are reached by bus. Apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. To the beach promenade, which is nice, within walking distance is about ten minutes across the area. this hotel I can recommend to everyone that really who wants to be pampered this is really each still so small 'bite'. After work were at the front desk by a bell refreshment towels and drinks (only one example) I could so many things, the whole shebang perfect did.
the rooms are really large and decay furnished. There is satellite tv (including three German channels) the bathroom was cleaned thoroughly every day. Fresh bed sheets every day.
The food was very mixed (international). But really very tasty.
