We have stayed at the NovTel on three different occasions. We have found the rooms clean and a good size. They are a little dated but just the same we have enjoyed our holidays there. The Hotel is located on a Hill about 3 Km from the main shopping centre. It cost about 100B for a taxi to the hotel from the centre of Putong. This hotel has a number of stairs and is set on approx 5 levels, so walking requires the negotiation of a number of stairs.
