The staff was very friendly and very child friendly.
Unfortunately we had overlooked, that the bungalows have only a room, so that also small, that it was hard it can accommodate two small children. We were at the front desk flexible and understanding a larger ground floor rooms available.
The hotel area was very nicely arranged, lots of greenery and flowers.
The buffet is international and something for everyone to finden.

My husband and I (31) (26) (2 1/2) were our twin boys for a week in mid-March Nubian village.
We were very satisfied, hotel was beautiful, large and clean! For children is also something offered.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. If it was the gardener or cleaner, were all friendly.
The beach pleased us also very well, since the water front is not deep, it was nice for small children, especially the beautiful fish swam at the feet! Bathing shoes are recommended (you can buy cheap in the hotel plant at the pool)

Everything was super, the room very clean, the food was good and the entertainment by the pool further down was also super!
Very clean and well-kept, there was a safe available and every day we got fresh towels!
Everybody tried very hard to make everything work.
Stay at the pool further below in any case, the guests there were more pleasant.
The food was good, but after a week you had had enough, because everything tasted the same.
Egypt is simply a dreamland!

Please note, next to the hotel there is a construction noise from a hotel built 08.-17 hours etc. Meissel rumbling hydraulic excavator is the noise at the whole beach at snorkeling under water. Noise level at the pools incredibly large speakers with music at the two pools and there is no retreat in the dining room always cutlery plates or glasses. Drink mussman even get at dinner. Many glasses are on Srünge.

The hotel was nice and clean, the rooms in the main building were spacious.
There were 2 main restaurants, one in the main building and one by the beach - the second one turned into a à la carte restaurant in the evening, only with prior resveration.
The guests were of mixed nationalities, 45% Italian guests, 45% Russian guests. We met three German speaking families, two of them from Austria and 1 from Switzerland.

We tipped at the end of our hols so none of the staff treated us with special treatment because we had tipped them, they seemed as if they really enjoyed their work and were interested in your lifeThe food was good on the whole although was never very hot, their was lots of choice and displayed well. - in August 10

All in all a great hotel, staff were great, there are plenty of other nationals at the hotel, but had no problems with them, infact it was the English that were a pain, until they lost at the football then they were subdued. - in May 10

Pool was great "inc waterpark" room was huge overlooking the sea "watching the sunrise over Saudi arabia every morning was an experience", the room was cleaned, bedding changed everyday & the male cleaners where freindly, the grounds where immaculate, nothing at fault about the upkeep of the place "superb", the food after the 5th day did get repetative and boring, yes.

The main issue I found with this hotel was the russians and italians, they arent friendly people, and are the majority of the people who holiday at this hotel. - in August 10
Must go to Soho Square 100 E pounds there and back, it is a posh shopping centre, no hassle shopping just friendly people, big fountain in centre which is a centre piece to the square, a must visit in the evening has a British bar The Queen Vic. - in February 10

we have just returned after 2 weeks in the nubian village i travelled with my 2 boys aged 11 and 10 my daughter 8 and my partner all i can say is we had a fantastic time and would love to go back the hotel was lovly and clean pools and aqua park fantastic food good there was plenty of choice and we always found something to eat all the people who write reviews saying the food is bad dont listen u are in a foreign country wat do u expect to eat??? there was always chips and 3 types of meat on offer pasta and pizza the staff are great shady by the pool is a lovly man i got on really well with him and even gave him some clothes to take home for his children,mustafa behind the bar is funny he loves to have a laugh with you and my kids thought he was great all the staff are fantastic and make u feel welcome olga and her son arteom (artie) make the hotel they are the annimation team and there is always something to do round the pool they try to get u involved in everything olga does water areobics twice a day this is fun haha all in all we had a fantastic relaxing 2 week holiday and this was well worth the money and i hope to see them all again next year oh and i didnt get the young german ladys name who deals with any compliants ppl have but she was sooo friendly and we had a good few chats not about compliants as we didnt hasve any but some ppl are sooo picky!

Staff very friendly and cant do enough for you, even before you tip them, i only tipped those who did a great job without their hand out, the barman by the pool who must work 18 hrs a day, a couple of the waiters and the cleaner, Taxi outside hotel is cheaper than organised within, you can haggle and we got return to naama bay for EGP 100 and you book them to collect you and pay them when they drop you off, we did it twice and had no issues at all.

They are extremely short staffed in the restaurant and the waiters try their best to smile, take drinks orders and relay tables as quickly as they can but I was ashamed to see a few people (all nationalists) being impatient and unpleasant to them.

Overall impression: The hotel complex is massive and includes, football court, tennis court, Bedouin tent (food / shisa pipe chargable), excellent restaraunt, bar, main pool with swim up bar, water slides and kids pool, smaller pool near beach with bar, private beach, health club (massage etc chargable but great), jetty, coral reef for amazing snorkelling and beach restaraunt.

There's a free shuttle bus to Naama Bay where there are a lot of shops (be strong and resist or be prepared to haggle ruthlessly) and bars/restaurants, even a McDonalds.

Beach was lovely , quieter than the pools, with great sunbeds and umbrellas, beach staff set up your beds with your towels without looking for tips, we didn't tip until the end of our 2 weeks and still got great service. - in November 09

we have just had a fantastic week at the nubian the people are brill do any thing for you the food is great GREAT and cakes are to die for olga & anton do the entertainment and you have a great time and do games and songs for the kids there is fresh pasta every day , chips meat salad ect the water slides are good for the kids and the gardens are beautiful Your rooms are cleaned every day and the beds are changed please try this hotel we have been 7 times now and are looking forward to next year if you go please say Hi to Khaled He is a very good man thanks jane roberts

How wrong they were the hotel was good clean tidy the staff were excellent especially front of house manager the food was good and as far as trips out for the day go dont go any where else apart from Grand safari These 2 guys or should i say friends careem and alex made not only our days out the best but also made our days every day just talking to them these guys are highly recomended and are not to be by past so dont judge them speak to them before you do they are stars and also the cheapest and i guaarantee you will get a better service here than anywhere the entertainment staff pop and katy were absoulutely brilliant every one from the room cleaner to the pool guy every one was excellent. - in October 09
