We have just returned from a fantasic stay at the Oasis Beach Hotel , Anisarras in Crete. Our room had a sea-view and was superbly fitted out and was more than comfortable--all rooms were re-furbished for 2010. Oasis is a great name for this family run hotel, as there are delightful well-kept gardens full of beautiful cacti, palms, hibiscus, etc etc. The owners also grow most of their own fruit and veg on site and you will be treated to superb home style Greek cooking and taste olive oil from their own trees. Me and my husband stayed here august 2010 the hotel was nice clean and the staff where friendly, the rooms are tidy but the shower is very small luckly i am slim so i was ok but god HELP a big person trying to shower !!!!!!! they also dont change the bed sheets i had to nag them and fresh towels are given every three days which wasnt pleasant at all, as we had around 2showers a day and there were only four towels too last us three days !!!!!! the food was OK abit satley for me the breakfast was a JOKE not much variety at all, the pool area ... The Oasis Beach Hotel is very nice and relaxing. The people were very friendly and the service very good. Very quiet the perfect to get away. Hotel is kept in very good condition ( rooms - very high standard) souranded of beautiful garden.
