This was our first time in ocean beach. The hotel is very well run. We stayed in the Annex. The room was big enough, bright and friendly equipped and was very well cleaned. The bathroom was new and tastefully equipped. The whole area was very well-kept. The breakfast was quite okay for those price. The owner is very willing to make an effort. We had for example a flat tire on our rental car. Stavros is immediately on the phone and call Reifenhändler (it was Sunday). Then he is with the tires to the dealer and had it repaired. We were now for the fourth time in a row at the ocean beach. Here everything simply fits. This year extension with a further 14 finished rooms didn't have any negative effects, compared to previous years. On the contrary. Hotelier and wife, and the staff was, always had an open ear for their guests. Service and friendliness was capitalized here. We had the luck to live in room number 314. If we make again vacation on Thassos, would be the third time, then we would definitely go back to this hotel! A hotel with a very nicely situated pool, and garden area! The good reviews on holidaycheck led us to spend our two-week vacation in Hotel Ocean Beach on Thassos. We were not disappointed. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Koula, the hotel owner. The hotel is very familiar and you feel totally at ease with everything.
Stavros (the husband of Koula) always had time for you and was always present. The damage to our air conditioning in the room was directly taken care of.

... And the continuation of the holiday in May 2011 : it was again not be beat! Just great! In the selection of the staff had Stavros Koulo extensions and a good hand. In addition to a new efficient cleaning staff, help the very nice gardener Alex and really friendly Sophia (bar/pool dining) the great team of Stavros and Koula.
We will be back on line and to thank for the beautiful hour at the bar, the absolutely nice service, helpfulness and friendly and nice hospitality, we (as a former much traveled) in Europe have never experienced!
