... hotel Ocean Resort. But what we experienced this year, was beyond good and evil. From the moment we arrived we saw that the hotel was in a rather bad condition than 2 years ago. The entrance lobby s not welcoming. We booked a 4 persons room, studio with kitchenette.

The hotel is a high-rise - like most in Waikiki. We are at the end of a America-trip for 4 nights, and that was OK. Short distance to airport Honolulu, just down the street to the Waikiki Beach, large commercial street/promenade right around the corner with shops, restaurants. Hotel but quiet. It is at the ocean resort an older city hotel. It has its best years behind it and is quite shabby. However, it was clean and the staff was friendly. We had the FTI-rental car-tour 'romantic Hawaii' and were therefore only three days at this hotel. For a short time the hotel was still okay, For longer stays we would book another hotel.
You could also have breakfast in the hotel against extra charge. The location is very good, a bus station right in front of the door.

The hotel is a grey building made from prefabriced slabs and discourages first a little Hotelk. The is not directly on the beach, five minutes footpath far away at the most. This has the advantage, that one was very quiet in the evening. The hotel is in need of an overhaul. The furniture rather dated. But our room was clean and well maintained. On our island tour but not during we stayed for 3 nights at the Ocean Resort Waikiki! Our first impression that after a long trip was: Oh my god. One to be honest, we arranged the 3 nights would recommend the hotel but definitely not, although we didn't fussy people are, small stains or tiny complaint has some gray spots like some.
