The hotel is in a perfect postion within walking distance in the Quarter, but also Canal Street (tram+ferry). Great is the view over the city from the pool area on the roof. Rooms were clean, but were above the window in the heavy velvet small amounts of dust to see. Air conditioning was pleasantly quiet, which was important as you the windows do not open (as in many American hotels). Read more

The Omni Royal Orleans is ideally situated in the French Quarter. It features 346 rooms of varying types, the decorated in 19th-century style - so if you want a like more modern decor, will probably not so make you feel right at home. The rooms are remarkably good value the cheapest category, but less recommendable.
