We had a calm vacation to spend on Texel. The hotel is located in the north of the island and in a quiet location. So does not want in the tourist centers of the island. The hotel is a bit away from the beach. This is very good by car or bike. Parking is available directly in front of the beach. Other points of the island and you should explore with the car.
We only booked with breakfast and only use this in the restaurant. It was simple, but okay. The restaurant is comfortable and clean.

The actual but rather small place de cocksdorp with its shops is about 800 meters away from the hotel. The restaurants were rather bad unfortunately and very overpriced. (unlovely, tasteless pizza with 2 sliced ham 12 Euro) the hoteliers are very nice and explain everything in peace. The hotel also has a sufficient amount of bicycles, the you suburb can be hired.
