The orchard is surely not the newest Hotel in Singapore, but right at the beginning/end of orchard road and extremely Central for shopping, food, nightlife. Although we only the hotel for a night booked-since we were only 'on transfer' to Australia and we were 'lucky' had the right on the weekend Formel1 to arrive there, the check-in fast and without delay. For Singapore, this hotel is not exactly a top notch, but if you look at the price increases in recent years, I think that for a reasonable price a good place to stay.HCLFHLHCLFHLRooms: the rooms are okay, but do haven't open the windows. Nice and well installed city hotel in a very good location. Nearby are countless shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very large lack! Both in the room and in the corridors, as well as in the breakfast room it was much too cold. We had to first armed clothes shop! We stayed at this hotel for three days. Except for the check-in staff there is nothing to complain about. My credit card supposedly not work, they made no effort to try again. You must deposit 100.00 euro deposit for the room, which you on the day of departure back. The transfer from the airport took about 30 minutes and we had to pay 20.00 euros converted, on the way back we paid about 10.00 euro.HCLFHLHCLFHLThe breakfast buffet was wide, the Superior rooms were attractive and newly renovated, otherwise there was nothing to complain about.
