We had booked a room with direct sea view (TUI) at the front desk we were told then, that it for TUI travelers no rooms with sea view, thanks to our Rep thanks to Mrs was that we got refunded the extra charge. Breakfast, well (ham) there was a sort of sausage, and a sort of cheese, little fruit, we were told, that extensive renovations place 2010/2011, is necessary, because the hotel is getting old already. From the outside the hotel looks very well kept and inviting. Tourists are mainly Portuguese, English and German.
The rooms are a bit dated, but in clean condition. They were cleaned daily and towels were changed on request. Even the ant colony had disappeared on the second day. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom even has a double sink.

The hotel itself is in very good condition, not too big nor too small and from the outside by far the best in the vicinity. In addition, very clean and in a quiet area of Praia da Rocha, but near the centre and the harbour. During our time of stay there were mainly British, German and Portuguese guests.
Our hotel room was the largest one we've had on our past holidays and was superbly equipped. With a small kitchen unit and refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had an above average size and even had a window!

The holiday was just great. The hotel is in An ideal location. Close to the tourist road but rather a bit quieter. The restaurants around the hotel are the most amazing, right in front of the hotel is the busstop. The excursions are also great. Definitely not "gypsy market'. You can save the 20 Euro. Room cleverly equipped, appealing and practical with the tiled and wooden flooring, large closet, large balcony with (a mostly partial) sea view, simple plastic chairs, with telephone, safe, TV (some 30 international channels), air conditioning (not needed because of the natural breeze that went through the house), bathroom with bidet and 2 sinks.
