In the shadows of the towering fortifications around Malta's capital city, which once constituted the islands' main military defence, lies the Osborne Hotel , housed in one of the magnificent palaces built by the knights of the Order of St John.

The Osborne Hotel has just renovated all of its rooms to Superior Standard Rooms. The swim spa has also been changed to a swimming pool.

the hotel is in a former Palazzo accommodated. By the modern Renovation of course some strange things developed, like for instance by a false ceiling was the window divided and upper then the window on the floor. But, we wanted in the hotel sleep and not move in and found it comical, as the building also listed is.

Centrally located hotel, ideal as a base for exploring Malta with lines (5 minutes walk to the bus station).
Hotel was appears to be relatively newly renovated. Room very large and beautiful decorated, the bathroom was functional (sink, tub, toilet). Safe (surcharge) was unfortunately not anchored in the closet.

As a base for things to do. Room service is to be desired. Breakfast was OK, but not very varied. Dinner was always very good.
