The palace bonvecchiati is a wonderful hotel in top location. However, you should avoid the restaurants in direct proximity rather, the sufficient guests come only once and that is price performance ratio. The hotel is total clean and the staff very polite and helpful. The only negative are the prices in the bar and the breakfast was no possibility to get something out of the deal (we wanted a soft boiled egg-so nothing really fancy). The palace bonvecchiati is a modern city hotel located in the district of San Marco and therefore an ideal starting point for Venice to become acquainted with. It is only a few minutes 'walk from Saint Mark's square and Rialto bridge. Very pleasant was already when we arrived, the friendly and good air-conditioned reception area. Our room was large, bright (3 windows) and very well furnished. Also the bathroom left nothing to be desired. The well-functioning air-conditioning provided for a pleasant temperature in the room.

A great hotel in the best location. From the hotel to the left and a three minute walk from the rialto bridge. To the right and in two minutes away from the piazza san Marco. 'Normal' is very expensive, but we have at short notice (48 o'clock prior to arrival) and an excellent price. Inside tip for last minute! Read more

The hotel is very centrally located between saint mark's square and rialto bridge. Shops, restaurants and bars are in the immediate vicinity in harsh quantities available!
The breakfast in the hotel was sufficient and for Italian habits plentiful (fresh fruit, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, Bacon, rolls, cheese, sausage, pastries, cereal).

triple glazing will help the problem, if one is ok with closed windows, say during Summer when the airconditioner is on, at this time of the year (Early May) I did not want aircon but prefer an open window.
