The hotel in general
The very popular hotel Paradis 3*** has been opened on the 21.04.1973 and completely renovated and redesigned in 2007. 2008 the hotel got his 4th star and has been named Paradis Palace.
The hotel has 503 rooms. 200 are in the main building and bloc beach with sea/pool and garden view. The guests can book single, double, triple, quadriple, family rooms and appartments. 303 rooms are in the bungalow area, all with garden view, situated in a great garden with a lot of palm trees, flowers, a little pond with bridge and
goldfishes. Here the guests can book single, double, triple, quadriple rooms or double rooms with connecting door.
The bungalows can bee booked from March to October.
Hotel location
The hotel Paradis Palace is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches of Hammamet. You can visit the new part of Hammamet, called Hammamet-Yasmine, in 30 minutes by the beach on foot or by taxi for approx. DT 3.500. There is a nice marina, a long promenade on the beach and in the parallel road an artificial medina with an animation parc as well as a lot of boutiques and souvenir shops.
For approx. DT 5 you can go by taxi visiting the center of Hammamet with the old medina and the fortress. Do not miss to drink a typical peppermint tea in the nice Café Sidi Bou Hadid, by the medina, on the beach.
The two golf courses Citrus (2 x 18 holes, 1 x 9 holes) and Yasmine (1 x 18 holes, 1 x 9 holes) are about 5 km from the hotel away and can be reached by taxi or the shuttle bus from the hotel. The best discos and animation centers are also just around the corner.
The airport of Tunis is approx. 60 km from the hotel, the airport ,of Monastir approx. 85 km and the new airport Enfidha approx. 40 km.
Service at the hotel
From April to September, the hotel offers an all inclusive service which contains the main meals, all snacks from 15.00 - 17.30 h and from 22.00 - 00.00 h, non alcoholic drinks and all local alcoholic drinks marked with a green point on the card, the minibar in the room with one bottle of mineral water withour gas, one bottle of mineral water with gas, one bottle of Coke and one Fanta, changed every day.
From October to March you can also book half board, full board or all inclusive.
Gastronomy in the hotel
We can proudly say, without exaggeration, that we have one of the best kitchen in Tunisia. We offer our guests rich buffets with a big choice. A big surprise are also our subject evenings with the decoration in the restaurant like an asiatic buffet with the assistance of a South Corean cook, a nice young woman which worked in the Embassy and now teaches at the hotel school, an Italian buffet with the help of an Italian cook and a Tunisian buffet with sometimes live music. On every buffet the guests will also find international and Tunisian dishes and for the children the 3 "P's, pasta, pizza et pommes-frites (fried potatoes). And not to forget our great dessert buffet !
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Our multi lingual animation team entertains you during the day with different activities like dart, archery, boccia, fotball, volleyball, water gymnastic, aerobic and apero games. On the beach the guests can profit of all non-motorized activities, f.e. pedalo, kajak and wind surfing. The motorized sports can be done against charge in he neighbour hotels. These activities are parasailing, waterski, banana boat and jetski.
In the evening the children can dance with he animation team in the minidisco. After that shows and dance.

Paradise palace is located in Hammamet-South and is about seven kilometer from the old town. This is simply and inexpensively with the taxi. It has about 500 rooms, at our travel time the hotel was only about 50% and so it was relatively quiet and pleasant. If the hotel with over 1000 guests in the summer is full, I am quite noisy on the whole. The guests were from Germany, France, Italy and it were also many Tunisian and Algerian new year's Eve guests. Their gym can do with a major refurb, I know people dont go there to excercise but with all the food available it is good to be able to burn some off. - in January 10
