Family rooms in bad condition, dirty and dilapidated. Sheets had stains. Floors were dusty and dirty. Food in the restaurant (rather a cafeteria) always the same. The staff have no idea of service and munches the leftovers, the guests on the plates. Cutlery for the following guests. Coventry-three days failure of food. The hotel is located in the area of the airport and you hear every ten minutes or a plane taking off land. The food. in the morning, at noon and in the evening the same! We were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms Heiligendamm was very large, daily water was re-filled, the room they cleaned up. Food and drinks were very delicious, we had no stomach problems. The entertainers, as well as the complete staff has English and partly German spoken. Everybody was very helpful and very friendly, and conversed were curious. overall we had a good holiday, the hotel is situatied next door to various shops and a supermarket, which is good, but expect to get hastle off the shop keepers to go in their shops, it is best not to speak and shake your head as then they do not know what language you speak, although most of them are quite friendly, if you are buying things , make sure you haggle, as you can get the price down alot, most shops will accept GBP, which makes life easier.

We have been to sham twice now and this was the better of the hotels we have seen, great for kids with the aqua park but just as good for couples We met two great couples there and had a proper good laugh, I would encourage getting to know people you arrive with it makes getting to know the hotel easier and what to do, we made some great friends there who made our week! - in September 10

We thought the entertainment was poor the 1st night so on 2nd day we spoke to wael he does the al carte he told us there was a belly dancer on for one night only and if we wanted to see her we must go that night as she would not be on again for the rest of our stay so as we thought it was something to do and a bit of entertainment so we agreed (not knowing it wasnt the only night belly dancer would be on and the food you can get more or less from the resteraunt) - it was a lovely night and belly dancer was good and food was nice but for £30 per person when you have paid for all inclusive i think is a bit dissapointing to resort and for wael to say one night only for belly dancer just to get his commision was a little naughty of him. - in April 10
The hotel has many activities to go on night and day at small cost the only faults I can give is the food was nice but not much choice although there is now a la la carte restaurant opened now at a small cost and the entertainment was poor but when i left they were building a nightclub and had plans for better entertainment which i hope they do because otherwise the hotel was a fantastic place to stay with fantastic people and atmosphere I am going back at Christmas hopefully . - in March 10

Just returned from a weeks visit to the Park Inn Sharm el Sheikh, having been to Egypt a number of times we knew what to expect, unfortunately the holiday got off to a bad start due to a misunderstanding at reception when 4 of us were put into a family room (7667 avoid at all costs) it was late evening and nothing could be done until the next morning so we slept in a dirty room (i woke to find my bed had hair in it YUCK! - in January 10

On arrival we were asked if we would like to upgrade to another room for £200 as our room was not to good this was before we had even checked in we declined and was given the tiniest dirty room next to the disco which is located just outside the hotel by the supermarket, i did not accept it and we were moved to the same room we had last year of which we asked for the same block when we booked and was confirmed by first choice ,the beach area for park inn is the worst bit of the beach and now have to walk to the far pier to get into the sea and not the one next to our bit of beach which has been used for years, its like the park inn is the poor relations we were told its because of the people who stayed there? our rep was as much help as chocolate teapot, honestly i could go on and on the place has dropped standards since our last stay 1 year ago.

A great place with great people Weather was really good, location good, food was great (not sure what the bad reviews expected?) Some pools were a bit cold but all were bearable but with such good weather would you want warm all the time The rooms were great The restaurant food and service were fantastic The people were just great, just have basic manners and they respond, tips always help but we only tipped at the end and still had great service We had an issue with one room as there were 4 of us, this was slow to get ressolved and my only criticism was the reception being slow There was a rare big storm just after we arrived and Egypt got hit bad and we had flooding and some damage but the response to fix issues was really quick and loads of people to ge the jobs done We would go back tomorrowand if you are sensible with what you eat/drink and have seom basic tablets then there is no reason you should get ill (we did not) As for Russians, they were fast to get into queues and all did not have the same manners but if you did not want them to bother you then they did not and you could guarentee better servic with a smile than they may have got because of manners, that asid we had no issues, just do not go to breakfast or dinner the minute it opened and all was well The day entertainment was fine but the evening was not great but like us take some cards, get to know the people and you will never be bored - in January 10

Just returned on 18 july after 14 night stay in rooms 7219/7218 which were fine, nice and clean and every thing worked great inc the air con had to turn the temp up in the night as too cold ,food was good some nights just ok other nights but always found something to eat ,night time was a little bit boring until we met a few people who seemed to spend a lot of their time at the pool bar ( no names but hoped you had a nice trip home John,Susan,Paul,Sharon,Andy,Yvonne,Ginger aka Billy no mates and Marie ) they made our holiday that much more fun and hope we can all keep in touch via facebook Andy i cannot find you on their so if you read this look for stuart zippy smith and add me ,If you want to avoid the shop keepers outside use the little gate from the corner of the top pool we went to la strada ( 20 eygpt pounds in taxi just tell them thats all your paying) shopkeepers much better there dont be afraid to go in and haggle the best way to find your way around is to ask someone who has been there for a week already ,quad biking was fun boat trip with the snorkling was fantastic also snorkel off jetty fish everywhere, finally the staff made the difference Kemo Polina adam of the animation team and the hotel staff were great Walid was funny but Khaled at the pool bar was the nicest person we have ever met and worked so hard 13 hours a day and nothing was too much trouble it is staff like this that will make us think of coming back (Hotel manager please note) if the staff make you happy and give good service please tip them as wages are very low 100 eygpt pounds is about the going rate for cleaner ,towel boy and bar staff,There was a tragic accident while we were at hotel which upset me but after talking to Samy at reception and seeing how genuinely upset the staff was i prefer not to comment on this . - in June 10

My eldest daughter went to Hard Rock Cafe at the begginging of the holiday and was given an obsene amount of FREE alcohol my the male animation and was later being peer preassured to go with another young english girl and two male animators to rent a room outside of the hotel (for a 'good' time. - in June 10
There is also some fab shops - no prices, lots of haggling, a Hard Rock Cafe, Pacha club, etc, etc, everything you need to rival any other resort, kind of Blackpool in the desert once it's dark!

The Bar upstairs from reception that over looks the swimming pools has cockroaches that were clearly seen around the serving area, the pool bar I have never seen such a dirty film of 3/5 inchs on the water line on the tiles, the white grout against the blue tiles are black mucus with black particles floating along side the plastic cups left in the pool. - in August 10

my wife 8 year old daughter and myself came home from park inn 28062010 and we all agree the staff made the holiday for us they work long hours but are always smiling treating you like you are special having so much time for every single person nothing is to much trouble for them drop a spoon and 5 waiters are thier to pick it up behind them is another 5 with a clean spoon for you down at the beach the waiter will paddle out and deliver your drinks right to you in the red sea the animation team work hard to give you good entertainment in the bedwin tent while the lifeguards at the pools are great fun but are always watching and they dont miss a thing so you have no worries about kids being safe while you sunbathe anyone going to park hotel will have a great holiday and we will be going back - in June 10

I spent a week at Park Inn with my friend, I've been to Sharm before (Sharks Bay) and Hurghada, Park Inn was brill, ?I have to admit all the hotels I've stayed in whilst in Egypt have been good but Park Inn's food/drink are of a better standard, staff are great and the pools lovely. - in March 10

The only plus point was the Aqua Park which has plenty to keep everyone happy, the only downside here however is that the pools are not heated and despite the weather being around 29 degrees our boys needed to grab a towel everytime they got out of the water to get warm again. - in February 10
