Good and central location opposite the Arab quarter; pub so, just nearby. Mostly friendly competent staff ( front desk, Concierge...); very extensive breakfast buffet (almost as with the lunch in the Japanese); rooms are large enough for a few nights city, clean. Only fly in the ointment is in my opinion the air conditioning, the you unfortunately off-and on the lowest level too loud for so many guests sleep was. But otherwise there is nothing to fault. Great Hotel in Singapore at the beach road with contact with the Arab quarter of the central business district, parkroyal on beach road is located at the southern edge of Arab quarter, all sights are within walking distance (Arabic quarter, Indian district, business district, Chinatown, etc.) the hotel was in a perfect condition: the size of the room was attractive, it has room for two queen size beds (double rooms were booked), a desk, a seating area and a nice spacious bathroom. In this fascinating city there are innumerable hotels. Hotel The park Royal. This hotel is conveniently located, has a good breakfast, a nice pool, a spa and a gym. But you can hardly use the facilities. We were traveling the whole day and have little time at the hotel. After five minutes footpath to the underground and then go to the turmoil. Money was exchanged at the front desk, the rate is not the best. Unfortunately, there are currently two construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. We still slept well. The hotel consists of five floors and one could almost overlooked in the high-rise from Singapore. Location directly across the street from the Arab quarter and about 25 to 30 minutes away from the esplanade. Orchard road is it to foot far to (bus or cheap taxis). The hotel has a modern lobby, a nice restaurant with very, very good and diversified breakfast and a very large and beautiful pool on the roof. A good stopover hotel in the middle of the Arab quarter across the street from the Sultan mosque. Little India is also well to foot to reach. Rich breakfast buffet, both for the Asian taste and also for the european taste. Singapore is just a great city. Read more
