The hotel in general
Hotel Ayurveda Parkschlösschen Bad Wildstein has existed since February 1993 as the first "strictly Ayurveda" health resort in Europe. In 2003 it became a 5-star hotel. In June 2008 the Parkschlösschen was renovated, during which especially the therapy and reception areas were completely modernized. To keep to the principle, “The entire hotel is in itself therapy”, natural materials were used wherever possible during the renovation of the building which was constructed in 1898.

Hotel location
The small castle is located in a 4.5 hectare park in a quiet side valley of the Moselle River in Traben-Trarbach, Germany.

Service at the hotel
A team of 80 employees made up of permanent and freelance staff, as well as 5 trainees, looks after the guests.

Gastronomy in the hotel
Vegetarian gourmet cuisine using fresh, predominantly organic ingredients. Black tea, coffee and other beverages containing caffeine or alcohol are not served because they would be counterproductive to a detox cure.

Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Ayurveda Department:
This department is an area of 800 m², where the most important Ayurvedic massages and treatments (7 synchronous massages, 10 special treatments) are carried out. In accordance with ancient Sanskrit writings, women get their massages from women and men from men. The ingredients of the massage oil originate from inspected organic farms and are tailored to suit the individual's constitutional type.

Spa area:
Spa area of 2000 m² with thermal swimming pool, two saunas, a steam bath, fitness studio and an area for Yoga, gymnastics and beauty.


Leisure time activities:
The Ayurveda Parkschlösschen programme is complemented by daily lectures given by Ayurveda experts and doctors, in addition to cooking workshops in the in-house training kitchen and outings nearby. Those who want to venture further from the hotel will find everything in the close vicinity that makes leisure time more fun: golf courses, hiking trails through the charming vineyards of the Moselle, cycling and inline skating routes alongside the Moselle, as well as tennis in the park.
