A wonderful Palace in a beautiful park, the rooms in either ugly new built wings. It is not the very big luxury, the one expected, but refined. Nice for a city hotel, terrace or balcony and while having the windows open able to sleep. Breakfast in the magnificent restaurant serves, in not so massive Choice is the quality is excellent. Service as always in Portugal sleepy but nice.

Despite differing reviews we have for a three day stay for the Pestana palace decided (booked through Leaders Club). The first impression (driveway and front desk = old castle part) unique. Extremely friendly welcome with monitoring of the concierge's in the room. Beautiful Junior suite (free upgrade from Leaders Club)-beautiful large balcony with a view of the park (a green oasis in the city). Notes: The standard room look really turned out to be quite small and some rooms have no balcony or terrace (but I can't say more about this).

The extremely courteous staff welcomes you in this OASIS with a lot of friendliness. The food and the drinks were at the highest level, which was unfortunately not for all guests of the hotel is. This is also the only point of criticism, which we can. The rooms are a bit small, we booked category (standard garden view), but perfectly adequate for a short get away.

... to a short stay in Lisbon. My wife and I have rented in the Pestana palace a double room.
The front desk was friendly and polite. The first impression of the room, something small!
The third night toilet paper roll was missing, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, the pyjamas was on the floor my wife.
Sleep could be no question of, the hotel is located in the landing path of the Lisbon airport (very, very noisy, of 5:00 to 01:00) .also the occupants could break through the slamming of the room doors any sleep.
