Because of of overcrowding (!) we were given a studio at the highest category, it seemed from the booked but only from the higher location to distinguish. As had only overnight stay with breakfast booked, so to eat nothing else will. The breakfast was extensive and of good quality. Top location on a cliff directly on the sea, with views at least from our studio with balcony over the sea to the port of Funchal. Hotel and garden area made a very neat impression. Bus station, opportunities for shopping and a variety of restaurants can be found in immediate nearby. Unfortunately, the not so good food in the hotel, otherwise good impression.
