Well, if you were good on foot, the hotel is a good base for The Hague and Scheveningen has to offer. The crew was motivated and always in a good mood and has no reason to complain.
The hotel is located in the embassy district and up to the next possibility of or restaurants are a ten minute walk. The hotel consists of two lovely old villas and then a corresponding: high ceilings and windows, unfortunately in our case not with such a good view but therefor quiet!, noisy (wooden floors) and (of course) very narrow stairs. Very nice building in a stately Backsteinvilla, steep stairs but elevator available, small but very cozy breakfast room, everything lovingly decorated
A very spacious renovated triple room facing the street, it wasn't too loud, but there was no possibility to open the window, which is a problem in the summer; minibar, hot water boiler with tea and coffee, comfortable beds, very nice bathroom with fluffy towels and washcloths(! ), very clean, three real beds (! ) (No extra bed or sofa bed) for our son
