The Phoenicia has achieved the ECO certification awarded by the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) following a detailed environmental audit to verify compliance with criteria related to waste management, resource efficiency, green procurement, staff training and general environmental management among other areas.

We chose this hotel, because it's very convenient: the bus station is just a few steps away; this remodelling and there is chaos, but none is on. We had a nice room with a view and a small balcony. In general, the rooms, the lobby, the bar with piano and the restaurant nice to look at but not only that, you feel totally at ease with everything. A poorly-maintained and cleaned bathroom we had never stayed in a five star hotel experienced. The tiles next to the toilet were totally sprayed, there was even a yellow stripe the wall down. Despite his years this is one of the best hotels, in which I have stayed. In the house a quiet and well-kept atmosphere; the room was certainly not the newest, but it has a certain Charme. The staff is extremely hard to satisfy the guests, in case of defects remedy is created immediately (as long as you deliver this). Definitely no hotel for families with children. Read more
