Hotel Pink Shell Beach Resort

We stayed for four nights at the pink shell resort, and had a great big room in the main building (it was like a condo with kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, two flat screen TVs equipped) beach and pool were super nice, great sunsets, reasonably priced restaurants, drink at the bar only six, 50 USDWir have felt very comfortable here. there are many pros and cons. The location of the hotel is not top, the view from the balcony was not. At the front desk was very friendly. That was the main reason, why we have booked the hotel again. But... It is very dirty. The rooms are not cleaned properly. The hotel scored with all of it's great location in the Gulf. The rooms are all with a view of the sea, nice for those sunset. On foot in 15 minutes to the centre of Fort Myers beach. The dining room, where the breakfast buffet was offered, has gotten a bit old, the service is little time, so that you can see more often times, which the guests before us on the table to have eaten. We were now the second time there, and unfortunately the hotel has gone downhill in terms of cleanliness and staff, as well as the breakfast quality was very last year. It was okay. The staff was always helpful. It is however getting old and we had mold in the room. Our clothes smelled afterwards. But the hotel is in a fantastic location, the staff more than made up for it has a number of shortcomings. Read more
