The hotel in general
The aparthotel Platja Daurada is situated in the centre of the Bay of Alcúdia, next to the extensive beach of Ca’n Picafort. It is poplar with its visitors of different nationalities, many of whom return year after year to enjoy marvellous holidays.

In the hotel gardens you will find large swimming pools, a solarium with sunbeds and sunshades which will help you to relax. For those who prefer to practise some sport, our entertainment team have prepared a different programme for you each day, with fun and varied activities, both for children and adults. Sports tournaments and pool games are organised. Tennis and massages can be booked at reception, which is available for you 24 hours a day for any query or information you may have or require.

At night, the entertainment team offers you a wide variety of shows, such as: Dance Night with an orchestra, acrobatics shows, entertainment team shows and of course, for the children, the Mini disco and games.

In the restaurant we serve an extensive breakfast buffet and at night a varied buffet evening meal, including "showcooking". At midday you can enjoy our homemade pizzas and snacks at the Pizzeria “UEP” next to the beach.

The hotel is located in the Bay of Alcúdia, renowned for its tranquil waters and its long beaches. As the beaches are so extensive, you can enjoy pleasant walks with great views of the sea and the typical scenery of the lower Balearic Mountains. The hotel is situated next to a beach of fine sand and has sun beds and sunshades (fee payable on the beach).

Places of interest
Albufera - natural park 2 km away. One of the best-known areas in the zone is the Albufera in Alcúdia, where you can see all types of birds in a setting worthy of visiting.

Market in C'an Picafort (Friday mornings)

Pollença - Moving towards Alcúdia one finds the Roman town of Pollentia and following the coast one arrives at Pollença, one of the prettiest spots in the north.

The restaurant has air-conditioning. Our chef offers you a wide variety and quality in meals that are carefully created so that you will always find something to your taste. During breakfast or your evening meal, you can watch "showcooking". Once a week a thematic night in organised, with Majorcan food, Spanish food, etc.

Breakfast and evening meal are all served from a buffet. You can try all types of foods, whether they be international, national or typical local dishes. There is also the possibility of vegetarian dishes.
