Winter season is coming!!
Our family-run Hotel Pongauerhof is in a central, sunny and peaceful location in the middle of the Ski Amadé - one of the largest ski resorts in Austria.
Ski lifts, ski schools and ski hire shops can all easily be reached on foot, or by using the free shuttle bus (bus stop right outside the Pongauerhof Hotel).
For all cross-country fans: the local Flachau cross-country ski run is just 200 metres behind the Pongauerhof Hotel.
You have direct access to the Tauernloipe cross-country ski run.

A vacation holiday as it should be. The food was a class for itself! Room large and clean, to street bit noisy. Sauna spacious and nicely furnished. Ski bus in front of the door, after 5 minutes the elevator. For us it's feast we will be back. Read more

pleasant stay in a feel good hotel with friendly operators and employees. Rich breakfast with a big selection. I personally lacks the raw ham/ Bacon. Evenings normal Five course menu for four star hotel. Drink prices human. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms kostant clean. Boss and boss very friendly and helpful. A week skiing in Fachau: weather and snow were unfortunately not so great. But the pongauerhof therefor!
Service and friendliness of all the staff, as well as boss and the boss, was super good, ... the food (breakfast and dinner) were excellent. We were really spoiled with the really good kitchen. One looks forward to every evening to the delicious menu wide.

We stayed at the pong Auer court on the trip to Italy. For one night the hotel was okay, I would certainly not a week stay.
Why?
The only negative was the condition of the room, you can only be described as a bit obsolete. I think it is time for a renovation here urgent, and heating system should be renewed.
Unfortunately, despite the end of July in flachau very cold and snow in summer welcome higher mountains. As in the days before it was very cool and the heating is not stirred, one could speak in the room not just returned from comfort... Read more
