A hotel, that offers a very friendly, discreet service. Great view over the Falesia beach up to Vilamoura, quiet, just the sound of the ocean and the small flocks of sea gulls. The beach is about 134 steps away and even in November, it is still cleaned daily. However it is not suitable for handicapped people. The staff tried to carry out wishes before they were asked. They spoke English, German, French and Dutch. As it was the low season, there were mostly older guests there, but also families with small children. A very well-kept park aroun... Read more

Our vacation in the Porto Bay Falesia was an experience. The whole area, the friendliness of the staff, the room and the food were excellent and we will definitely be back. Compliments to management and staff for a great atmosphere, we rarely experience this. Ursula and Klaus Dieter Wendorf, November 2011. Read more

Very positive, which has otherwise been mentioned here, with an emphasis on the friendliness of all of the staff. We thought it was unfair that there was no mention of a section at the back of the building (building has almost a Y-shape). This section has the additionally paid 'side view of the sea', that turned out as a mini view. For that, there is a view of and noise from the arriving buses and cars. Otherwise there are other small details if you want to be picky (for example there is only one chair in the room as a clothes rack, otherwis... Read more

The hotel is very recommendable, even for women traveling alone! All age groups were represented. Entertainment program is available, however it is not done at the main pool, which didn't bother us too much. Gladly again anytime! Read more

We stayed in the October holidays (16.10-23.10) and had great weather. Pool and beach were great, not crowded, you could get a pool chair at any time. We only booked breakfast (it was very good). You could eat lunch snacks at the hotel or you can go into one of the supermarkets. On the night of our arrival, we went into the village for dinner- cheap, varied and good. We found the vacation was very relaxing. The beach allows you to go walking and look for muscles. We will definitely stay here again. Read more

a cappucino during breakfst instead of pretty untrinkable regular breakfast coffee; -a lot of package tourists, the area around the pool and the lawn was overcrowded; -the parking space is very limited and even if you are entitled to gratis parking thanks to booking via HRS, threre is no guarantee you get it - we had to look for the parking slot outside, which was not easy at all beginning of September; -the hotel presentation and the pictures promise more than the reality reflects: the hotel is ok, but not the place you feel a welcome guest and not the high quality spot for the money you pay; -pretty expensive internet access.
