This small hotel is located around the pool and was very pleasant. The rooms are large and in good condition. The place is located in a wine-growing area and nearby the hotel nice shops and restaurants. We stayed in the middle 'pizzeria' food and it was excellent. Mosquito of local wine cost. Read more

Protea Hotel Franschhoek the relatively central location, restaurants are easily accesible on foot. The hotel has 70 large, always clean rooms around a small, nicely laid out garden with pool. Everything looked fairly new or renovated. The rooms are well furnished, safe, tv, minibar, water heater (as everywhere in South Africa), a large bathroom with separate shower, bath, hair dryer.
