Protea Hotel President is proud to announce the dates for the next phase of our bedroom refurbishments: We will be commencing with the next floors on 01st May 2012, as per the same structure of the
refurbishments to the 4th, 5th and 6th floors over the last year. We will be blocking off the entire 2nd & 3rd floor for the duration of the refurbishment and this should reopen by end of October

The size of the hotel and the room were no Garanie for quality. Carpets and sofa set require cleaning, as well as the placemat in the dining room.
In comparison to other hotels, the we used, the staff were indifferent, except for a few exceptions.

We had a very nice one bedroom apartment with a lounge area (with kitchenette, bar, sofa, tv, desk), as well as a bedroom and a large bathroom.
