Hotel Puerta del Sol Porlamar

We stayed for a night in the hotel. The hotel is located almost on edge, above the city porlamar at an intersection. The environment was not very inviting. From the hotel room we had a very nice view over the city to the sea. We arrived around 20:30 and 15:00 o'clock there was only electricity. A large, almost daily problem with Venezuela. As the better Rooms at the seven floor and up to ten floor were, we had to wait three hours in the lobby, since there was no elevator worked. Typical City Hotel! We stayed at this hotel for a night before a trip, so you can't say much. But for a night everything was okay. Everything was clean, large rooms, clean bathroom. At the At dinner, you could choose from a menu, and it was. The waiter was a bit stuffy, but Oh well! Breakfast was modest, but one found something. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. In this hotel we were a night before we went on the tour, the hotel is somewhat older, but clean. The staff is friendly and nice. We are very early the next morning and the service left a bit ritzy and tight. The rooms are large, simple but clean. For a night not an issue. We were in the seventh floor We had at the end of our trip a technical problem with our plane and had a night in porlamar and we were greeted by the Condor again in this hotel.
