... the Bay of Puerto Rico. It is, as almost all the hotels were built into the hillside. If you are lucky, you can get a room with a view of the book; if you had bad luck, you could see the ckfront the pre-built Hotel. The hotel was already older, but well maintained. The rooms are sparsely furnished, but clean. However, it is on Tuesdays and Sundays No cleaning and no new towels. In 14 days we have managed it three times, towels without holes to get. i stayed at the puerto azul from the 26th Dec 09-9th Jan 2010, overall i was not entirally pleased with my stay at the hotel as the rooms were ok inside but when i arrived at our room there were old mattresses and binbags dumped outside of our room .

as a tip though amadores beach is a bit small stoney and puerto rico a bit busy, for £3 you can get a taxi to Anfi beach which is made of bahamas sand imported, is manmade so is just pure water and has all the facilities you need, like very very clean toilets, supermarket and very smart environment, a good clean and lovely beach, feels a bit upmarket.
