We arrived at the end of August for ten days in the hotel Puerto Playa Blanca and had a nice vacation, but unfortunately the quality of our all inclusive-food was spoiled. But first the positives: the hotel has a very nice location on the new marina of Playa Blanca, from where you can in both directions long promenade kilometer the total of twelve stroll along. The location is great! It is about 40 minutes from the hotel to the Papagaya-beaches (white sand beach). We were both with bicycles, as well as with car and saw a lot of the island. And Playa Planca, for us, is the most beautiful part of the island!HCLFHLHCLFHLThere are about two minutes away from the hotel (footpath) a sailing harbor and at the promenade plenty of small cafes and restaurants. We stayed a week with our grandson (4 years) in Rubimar, were on the whole very pleased. Beautiful large apartmentHCLFHLwith separate bedroom with additional sleeping bed, as have two children to sleep. Only two floors with a balcony, good facilities, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, two burner ceramic-hob, small LCD tv (a little high), and pool of broadcasting corporations and second channel, as well as safe. ... nice lady in the reception who was very friendly, the rest was not motivated at all.
Hotel Floresta in Puerto Del Carmen has only 3 stars.
Hotel Fariones in Puerto Del Carmen is arguable with the best on Lanzarote.
The buffets were very simple and the variety was not large. The food was ok, but no more. For a 4 stars hotel one would expect more.
Everything can be found in the surroundings.
The heated pool is warm and dirty. The walls have mildew and one can find holes on the cover. The pool is middle-size, but it was cool as ice. 4 stars? Read more
