T putje is located close to the inner edge of the city island-you are literally in the foyer of the 'museum Bruges'. Bruges is such a small city to walk around and we just fell in love with it and the friendly, laid back atmosphere. It is so pricey though, so best to eat off the beaten track a bit or buy snacks, it was much more expensive than London (exchange rate doesn't help!

We had deluxe rooms booked and found them to be very spacious and clean, only downside to our room was that the shower had to be held, but the bath was large as was the bathroom, but this didn't deter us as my sister's room had a beautiful power shower but smaller bath so we just used to use each others.

the hotel was in a great position, very clean, the rooms are very small and basic, the buffet breakfast was not a lot to eat we had to ask for milk,run of boiled eggs and the staff dont speak to you BUT WE STILL ENJOYED OUR STAY

good position and some of staff very nice others very abrubt and unhelpful - room had no air con - was like a sauna so sleep not easy - bathroom even worse was like an oven - with really weird shower - had parent in wheel chair - we saw reception twice and they had not noticed chair and orig put us in room with a rabbit warren of stairs to negotiate - lost browny points big time - would not recommend this hotel as could not gartee the welcome and the stye of room as neither of rooms offered looked like web pics - much smaller with cramped space even without chair

Got the eurostar from London, changed at Brussels, 10-15 walk through a lovely park from Bruges Station, straight to the hotel, no need at all for a taxi.
