For a short stay on mount Athos is the hotel was absolutely to be recommended. It is very well maintained and clean. The room 120 is large, with a nice balcony facing the pool/sea, equipped.
Since we the hotel also because of the pools had chosen, the disappointment was big when it was discovered, that was not for the Saision ready. The statement of the management was evident: hardly any guests = no water in the pool. a shame.

... balcony overlooking the pool and therefore with sea view. The cleaning lady was also very nice. To get to the beach you have to either walk across the street or the town ( circa 400 meters) and walk down by the tower ( landmark Ouranoupolis) there is a other beautiful beach. There were many excursion possibilities: A Athos-boatride away on the beach, you can rent small boats and explore the uninhabited islands, an excursion to the island and the Turmmuseum Amouliani. All in all, this hotel is Pyrgos highly recommended, as the value is great! Read more
