Check-in and check-out was easy and friendly, front desk is always occupied. The room was quite small, but that is not important for a city break. Unfortunately the room was facing the street, the windows were very noisy with casual, even with the windows closed you could hear the street. The breakfast was perfectly adequate, not very varied, but everything was plentiful and of good quality. The hotel is located between the metro stations faidherbe-Chaligny and Reuilly-Diderot nearby from place de la Bastille. The is easy access to all major sights so given. The furnishing is in good taste and decay. Especially the small inner courtyard is very charming. At the breakfast the selection was not huge, but the products are of good quality, freshly squeezed orange juice and in particular the fruit salad. We had booked a long weekend in Paris, end February. Due to the many good reviews we thought a good choice to have met. A mistake as it should emerge.
The rooms are, as usual in Paris probably, very small. But that's okay, you just want to sleep and easy access to this wonderful city axis. However, the cleanliness of the room and especially in the bathroom area to be desired.

The metro is only a few hundred metres away so access to the sights is easy and little cafes close to the hotel were great. They were typically french with few tourists which is what we wanted.
