A great hotel for a short break. The rooms were very quiet. The staff spoke English.
The spa area beautiful. The garden is wonderful designed, ideal for the evening walk.

The hotel is all around a great experience. Quinta DAS Lagrimas is a gracious manor house in a park, about 1 kilometer from the city center. Therefore, it is a little out of the center, but in walking distance. The rooms and the bathrooms were very spacious and we had on our balcony door even the possibility to leave the rooms and from the outside was lifted again with the room card, so that we have the direct pool access. An old mansion in a historic, extensive and very well-kept park just outside the historic city centre of Coimbra is the opulent framework for this exceptional Hotel. Next to the palace rooms in the castle with many antiques, but also with modern art decorated main building, parking 'garden rooms 'and' Spa room ' (in a separate section) are available.
