We got a room on the main building booked, since we only a short stay had. (2 nights) from the receptionist, we were welcomed in a friendly manner and welcomed with a drink. She gave us just the house explained and dinner offered. The Quinta offers rooms and cottages. We stayed in the cottage. Very quiet hotel in a central hillside location with excellent restaurants (not for timid drivers). Tasteful decor and helpful staff. The documentation are like almost all of the roads in Madeira very steep, perhaps for timid drivers very strenuous. We took daily excursions in all parts of the island.
