Well-kept area, directly on the sea, the street passing didn't bother as our room a bit further back. Well-attended, international clientele. As we were traveling in New Zealand winter, we didn't use the pool, the regularly maintained as we could see the panorama window at breakfast. Parking for each room available and free. Wow. The website says this cottage in any way from the beautiful rooms are how generously the whole complex, how hospitable everything is furnished and decorated. Nothing was missing, everything there and perfect. And everyone would be lucky to stay there again. We have never been so friendly welcome as by Dion late after 2 hour late! Taupo for us was the high point of the North Island and we regret it, only one day there to have remained. The ambleside is located above the lake, and it has a dreamlike view. Pat and soot take a very warm welcome and have a room in the extra class. The breakfast there is and then you can better than at home feel. We stayed for 10 days. We are from New Zealand and asked many questions by email prior to our arrival and Kim the owner was extremely helpful. We were given excellent instructions to get from the main train station in Mannheim to the hotel by tram. The tram took about 25 minutes to get into Mannheim and was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is no restaurant but a cafe over the road. This is well priced, clean and was great for us. Read more
